I’ve been a work-at-home person for over a couple of years now, and I haven’t been going out of my cave that often since then. My Friday workout schedule which was supposed to be a “push exercises” day, was replaced with a 3-hour walk around this beautiful financial and lifestyle district. And I’m not complaining.
A little sightseeing is a whole fun activity for me. And it’s a great opportunity for the amateur photographer, too. Here’s a few photos from my sightseeing tour at Bonifacio Global City(BGC).
I would never miss the chance to take a walk or sit at a beautiful park. There’s not a lot of them where I live.
I don’t know what’s so fascinating about traffic lights and street lights and this angle, but they are.
There’s a lot of wall arts and other artworks here in BGC but because it was so hot and I was getting a bit dizzy, I didn’t walk further to see more of them. I really regret it now.
The painting on the left is called “Dating Tagpuan”. (In English: “Past Meeting Place” or kinda something like that.)
The smaller painting on the white wall is called “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” You can find much, much better shots and more artworks at the BGC website.
Must be nice to ride a bike on your way to work or anywhere in an upper-class city, eh?
People are lining up at a burger restaurant(I forgot what it’s called) and Adidas. I didn’t ask around, but I could tell the stores were up to something crazy.
A few more walk-around and my sightseeing tour was done. I then took a bus back to the ordinary world.
I’m not sure if BGC really lives up to the work-life balance that it promotes since I’ve never worked here. But it surely is a nice place to live in with all the activities, artworks, buildings with state of the art structures, etc that you’ll find if you just walk around. It’s a great place for artists to showcase their talents, and for people to hang out and have a good time.
Maybe some employees or some regulars here would tell me this place is no heaven. But I’m sure they’ll agree if I tell them how much more privileged they are to be working in a much beautiful environment- especially in this country.
